Formula 1 for dummies!

  

 

 

Formula 1 is a motorsport competition conducted by the FIA (Federation International Automobile) or the
"Ferrari International Assistance" to some people. 

              

     There is a total of 10 constructors who are:

  • Mercedes
  •  Red Bull
  •  Mclaren
  •  Aston Martin                                             
  •  Alpine
  •  Ferrari                                                                     
  •  Alphatauri
  •  Alfa Romeo
  •  Haas
  •  Williams

    Each team or constructor has a total of two drivers and a reserve driver. F1 technology is one of the advanced technology in the whole world and a lot of money is put into the sport. Each F1 race has a three day weekend structure... On Friday, the teams gather data about the conditions of the track and try out new car setups. On Saturday, there is a small practice session before qualifying. In qualifying, the drivers out their fastest laps with cars turned up to give the maximum lap time possible... The more faster your time is, the more ahead you are in the grid. The grid is where all cars line up at the race on Sunday. If a driver qualifies first, then he is on the front of the grid and so on. In the race the drivers try to gain as much positions as possible by using their tricks and skill to gain points. 

                Although only the first 10 drivers can score points in an order:

                • First place gets 25 points.
        • Second place gets 18 points..
                        •  Third place gets 15 points..
      • Fourth place gets 12 points....
      • Fifth place gets 10 points.....
      • Sixth place gets 8 points.....
      • Seventh place gets 6 points.......
      • Eighth place gets 4 points........
      • Ninth place gets 2 points.........
      • Tenth place gets 1 point..........
